2023.6-8: NetEase - YanXuan Division - Innovation design center - Experience design department - Marketing experience intern
Participated in TianCheng’s cat litter product public benefit propaganda
mini-game program.
Created visual designs for YanXuan’s self-branded products’ display images, marketing banners, and product manuals in a design team.
Designed a set of TianCheng’s brand characters’ social media emojis and created motion designs for the emojis with another designer.
2024.5-7: NetEase - YanXuan Division - Innovation design center - Marketing design department - Marketing design intern
Participated in a 2-person AI research team and deeply studied AI-generated short video. Generated several testing promotion videos for YanXuan’s car perfume products with Runway, Pixverse, Midjourney, and other AI platforms.
2024.7-8: Artslink - Teaching Assistant
Individually designed the course concepts, teaching guidelines, and presentation slides for a new summer Desktop Publishing Software introduction class. It is held for five sessions (each lasting for 2 hours) with a total of 8 students.

🧸 About ME
Yuanqi Zhang is a college student now studying design in SVA, and spent 18 years living in China and 4 years in NYC. I felt deeply connected with nature, and I love doing things like zoning out through the window or hanging out in museums. I like to record my daily with photos and small sketches. I'm also a huge fan of anime and video games. Besides all that, drawing is my lifelong hobby and the reason I step on the design path.

I'm an empathetic person who is always supportive of everyone around me and able to understand other's feelings and thoughts instantly. I'm good at anticipating what people need the most and coming up with effective solutions. Although I'm an introvert, I am not against communication and am always open to any negotiation that can help me solve the case more fluently.
Observant
Idealist
I also consider myself an observant idealist or an imaginator. Not only because I can’t stop building a fantasy broad world in my head
but also because it is tied to my predictions for the future. I’m always sensitive to my surroundings and like to observe everything, from a fish-shaped cloud in the sky to the smallest detail people are troubled about. I imagine the big picture of how to crack
those pain points but also grounded with
solid details in reality.

Creator
Finally, as a creator, I'm always proud to build something from scratch to something that "wow" people. A great design shouldn't just
look good; it needs to fit in reality and bring joy to people who use it. I'm an observant person, and I care a lot about details. I believe fine details can determine how far the project can go. I love to sculpt them and make them
as close as possible. I'm still exploring that
path, and I hope that in the near future, I'll be able to take my designs hand in hand with the greater public.
